Griffin Capital Welcomes Paul De Martini as Chief Investment Officer
Griffin Capital Company, LLC (“Griffin Capital”), a leading private real estate investment manager, is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul De Martini to serve as Chief Investment Officer. In this capacity, De Martini will oversee the firm’s Development, Acquisitions, Portfolio Management and Asset Management divisions. De Martini will direct investment strategy and execution and serve on the firm’s Investment and Executive Management Committees.
Prior to joining Griffin Capital, Mr. De Martini served as Senior Managing Director at Tishman Speyer, where he was responsible for the company’s operations across the Southern California and Washington D.C. regions. His responsibilities included overseeing acquisitions, dispositions, asset management, and development. He previously worked in investment banking at Merrill Lynch and as a consultant for Andersen Consulting. Mr. De Martini is a member of the Urban Land Institute and currently serves in leadership of its U.S. Product Councils. Mr. De Martini graduated cum laude from UCLA with a B.A. in business economics and received his MBA with honors from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a Palmer Scholar.
